How to Install GCAM 7 Pixel 4 on All Androids

Google Camera or commonly known as Gcam has now reached version 7.0. The camera application that was originally only on Google Pixel series smartphones ranging from Pixel 1 to Pixel 4 has now been successfully modified by the developers to be used on many smartphones.

Google Camera 7 has a myriad of new features to try, one of which is interesting is Astrophotography mode. This feature allows users to easily capture astronomical objects such as stars, moons, and so on.

How to Install Gcam 7

If you have determined the Gcam application, then install the application as usual on the smartphone. To activate the Astrophotography Mode feature in Gcam 7.0, complete the following steps:

Go to the Gcam Settings menu then scroll down to select About modification and then click the Developer Settings menu. On the developer menu, activate the following options:

  • camera.cuttle.darken
  • camera.cuttle.extended
  • camera.cuttle.extended_iterable_burst

After that, the Gcam will restart and to try to use Astrophotography mode, simply enter the Night Sight Mode menu then change the timer to 3 seconds and focus on infinity.

Keep in mind, when the Astrophotography mode is active, Gcam will take pictures with a duration that is longer than ordinary night sight. So it is recommended to use a tripod so that the results of Astonomi photos with Gcam 7.0 become more maximal.
