Nokia G10 and G20 Come As “Budget Smartphones” from HMD Global
HMD Global, which houses the Nokia brand, has finally launched its X, G, and C series smartphones. It is said that all devices launched will be split across different price points and come with different software update promises.
First of all, let’s take a look at the specs, features and prices of the latest budget smartphones offered by HMD Global, namely those in the G series, Nokia G10 and Nokia G20. Each of them comes in a different storage variant.
As for the colors offered by HMD Global, the Nokia G10 comes in Blue and Dusk colors. For consumers who are interested in buying the Nokia G20, this smartphone also has two color choices that are no less attractive, namely Glacier and Night.
How about the price? The Nokia G10 is offered starting at 139 Euros. This smartphone has a choice of 3GB or 4GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB internal storage. The Nokia G20 will start at 159 Euros and have 4GB of RAM, with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage options.
The Nokia G series that was launched does not have 5G connectivity support. However, HMD Global promises up to 3 days of battery life, three years of monthly security updates, and updates to the Android operating system for two years.
Nokia G10 and G20 come with LCD display panels measuring 6.5 inches and have HD + resolution. The aspect ratio is 20: 9. Under the hood, the Nokia G10 is powered by the Helio G25 chipset, while the G20 is powered by the Helio G35 chipset, which is also made by MediaTek.
For the camera sector, the Nokia G10 is only equipped with three cameras on the back, with a 13 MP main sensor, 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro lens. On the other hand, the Nokia G20 has a four camera setup, with a 48 MP main camera accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro.
Apart from the differences mentioned above, the Nokia G10 and G20 have similarities such as a 5050 mAh battery, 8 MP front camera, 4G LTE support, 3.5mm audio jack, fingerprint scanner on the side, Google Assistant button (dedicated), and Android OS. 11.
