The Huawei P50 Series design and camera will improve significantly

No one can deny that Huawei is believed to be announcing its P series smartphone in the first quarter of this year. Meanwhile, the tech giant from China has said nothing about its arrival, perhaps debuting as early as next month.

An informant from China who is known for his several leaks regarding Huawei smartphones claimed that the upcoming Huawei P50 series will come with an overhaul in terms of design. Not only that, he also said that the P50 Series will have a significantly improved imaging system.

Still according to the informant, when more and more smartphone manufacturers pay attention to the rear camera design, the Huawei P50 series will take a different approach. He claims that apart from considering the photographic capabilities, the P50 lineup will also come with an improved design.

The Huawei P50 Series will be equipped with the latest generation of “super super” imaging systems. However, this smartphone series will continue to use Leica engineered cameras. Unfortunately, this informant did not share any concrete information regarding the specifications of the Huawei P50 lineup.

In late December, reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer shared a front-side CAD render of the Huawei P50 Pro. Unfortunately, the rendering looks unclear, so the presence of a single camera hole on the front is also not very clear.

Meanwhile, another leaker, Teme, revealed that the Huawei P50 / P50 Pro + will have a 6.6-inch / 6.7-inch quad-curved screen with 120Hz refresh support. He further said that the two smartphones will arrive with a slimmer glass / ceramic design, new gesture support and EMUI 11 based on Android 11.

It is also said that the Huawei P50 / P50 Pro + will have quad / penta lens support under the Leica brand and have the latest super zoom that can offer up to 200x digital zoom. The P50 / P50 Pro + is also expected to come with the Kirin 9000 / Kirin 9000 chipset, a 4,200 mAh / 4,300 mAh battery, and support for 66W / 50W fast charging.
