On the company’s official blog, it is explained that users must update their application to version 5.0 or later. Only that version can make video calls, and in this update there are several updates offered.

  1. 256-bit GCM AES encryption

Where through this encryption system, users can get better security of user data. For this security system, it can only be obtained in version 5.0 and above, because the previous version can no longer be used.

  1. Report User

Then there is also a feature that allows users to report other users who have committed violations. For this button itself will be activated by default during the meeting.

  1. New Encryption Icon

Not only just getting an encryption system, but users will also find a new GCM encryption button in the form of a green shield on the top left of the Zoom Meeting window . When this button is clicked, it will be directed to the statistics page to see additional encryption details.

  1. Improved Data Center Information

Through this feature later the meeting host can choose the data center region when scheduling meetings and webinars. In addition, users can also indicate which data center (server) they are connected to through the icon on the top left of the Zoom window.

  1. Improved Join and Leave System

This feature can help users join or leave meetings more easily and safely.

More or less that’s some updates offered by the Zoom application on the latest version yesterday that you must get if you want to still use it.
